Maoism in the district is a great problem for the whole country.
The Naxal movement started at Naxalbari in Siliguri, West Bengal
sowed the seed of Maoism in India. Now a days, Maoists are active
in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattishgarh and Orisa. Kishenji, Telegu
Dipak are the leaders. Women also have active part in their force.
Recently they are killing Marxists and polices randomly. C.M of
West Bengal had a narrow escape from their mine. CRPF jawans also
falls short to their tricks. |
