Kshudiram (1889-1908):He was born at Madhubani in Paschim Medinipur. He was the first patriot to have hanged in the history of Indian freedom movement. He and his partner Prafulla Chaki attempted to kill Kingsford (a cruel district magistrate ) on 30th April, 1908 but mistakenly killed two European ladies by their bomb. Later, Kshudiram was caught by police and he was hanged. | |||
